Sewing has always been a part of my life as our family business produced fashion garments and work wear. And so the love for creating something crafty started early.

As a child I loved to attend after school clubs in the local community hall, in addition to all the summer camps that my mother signed us up to. So by the age of 14 I had tried a wide range of crafts: pottery, felting, enamel arts, basket making, tye dye, weaving, beading, candle dipping and pouring and probably more.

I’ve always loved bright colours and interesting patterns, and enjoyed spending time browsing stationary shops.

Later in life, I discovered the joy of sewing items for my own children and so the noise of a sewing machine and pieces of thread around the house became the norm. And guess what, it quickly evolved into a bigger hobby.

Currently, my creativity leads me to make patchwork quilts and fun home decor items.

I love sharing the joy of creating with other craft enthusiasts so in 2023 I started teaching sewing and patchwork.
